Delivery Manager - Senior SQL/GCP and Tableau Developer

Job Purpose

As part of the Data and Technology services practice, you will be working with the data analytics and reporting requirements of a major US bank as part of Acuity's Center of Excellence model.

Desired Skills And Experience

Essential Qualifications

Mandatory

7+ years of relevant experience in SQL/GCP, Tableau and Python

Additional

Working knowledge of Google BigQuery

Prior experience in Agile methodology, using JIRA, and supporting BFSI stakeholders

Experience in Consumer banking

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate client challenges into actionable business intelligence solutions by partnering with the stakeholders and the subject matter experts at the bank
• Expertise in understanding the technical and functional designs for databases and reporting areas
• Perform data preparation activities in support of analytics, reporting and automation. Develop and manage bespoke extract, transform, load (ETL) processes. Create centralized, analytical data marts across various projects to support analysis across multiple business units
• Require excellent development and coding skills.
• Evaluate and improve technical and functional designs of the data marts and reporting areas
• Ability to transform high-level requirements into data visualizations and capabilities which will allow business users to answer common questions and interact with data to answer more complex questions. Design and create complex, intuitive and easy-to-use Tableau dashboards by understanding the business requirements
• Analyze underlying data sets, summarize findings and present insights using data visualization
• Lead migration calls for report's migration during platform changes
• Be naturally curious about bringing analytical rigor to current information flow within BFSI
• Communicate with clarity and humility – both internally and externally
• Study and research on the domain functionalities to add value to the analytical findings
• Ensure meticulous documentation of processes, meta data, query logic, and results
• Perform balance & control, testing and/or other validation activities to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure quality of data, analysis and reporting of the overall process
• Identify current processes which are manually completed, apply process automation
• Building good rapport and trust with client
  
  

Key Metrics

• Master's in science or engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, etc / MBAs with relevant experience and skills
