This Privacy Policy explains how HireHire ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use hirehire.in (the "Service"). We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — when you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email address, profile photo, and a provider ID. We never receive or store your password.
• Profile / onboarding information — the role you're looking for, preferred city, and experience level you provide, so we can surface relevant jobs.
• Resume content — if you choose to use the AI match feature, the resume text you paste is processed to generate a match score and suggestions.
• Usage & device data — pages viewed, interactions, approximate location (derived from your browser, with permission), browser type, and similar analytics, collected via cookies and analytics tools.
• Saved activity — jobs you bookmark are stored so you can revisit them.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, personalize, and improve the Service (e.g., filter and rank roles by your profile).
• To generate AI match scores, strengths, gaps, and company suggestions.
• To operate your account, process subscriptions, and provide support.
• To understand usage and improve performance and UX.
• To communicate important updates about the Service.

3. Service Providers We Use

We share limited data with trusted providers only to operate the Service:

• Supabase — authentication and account storage.
• OpenAI — to process resume text and return AI analysis (used transiently to generate results).
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — aggregate usage analytics and heatmaps (Clarity masks sensitive on-page content by default).
• Payment provider — to process subscription payments securely. We do not store card details.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and profile data while your account is active. Resume text submitted for analysis is used to produce your results and is not used to train models. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see below).

6. Your Rights & Choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. You can also stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
