Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Python Automation Engineer with Quality Expertise to join our Advanced Proof of Concept (APOC) team. This is a hybrid engineering role, development-first in nature, where the primary focus is on building automation solutions, tools and scripts that power APOC initiatives. When the queue demands it, the same engineer will shift to quality validation, ensuring the reliability, scalability and correctness of solutions developed within the team.

The ideal candidate is a strong Python developer who also brings hands-on QA capabilities — someone comfortable writing production-grade automation code as their core work, and equally capable of stepping into structured testing, API validation and defect analysis as needed. This dual capability makes you a force multiplier on a fast-moving APOC team.

Key Responsibilities:

Development (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop and maintain Python-based automation tools, scripts and integrations for APOC solutions.
• Build reusable automation frameworks, utilities and internal tooling to accelerate proof-of-concept delivery.
• Develop REST API integrations, backend services and workflow automation components.
• Write clean, well-documented and maintainable Python code following engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with APOC Architects, Product Managers and Engineering teams to translate requirements into working solutions.
• Participate in solution design discussions, technical reviews and architecture deep dives.
• Set up, configure and manage automation environments and solution infrastructure for APOC demonstrations and pilots.
