Where and how you can work This role is based in London at our European HQ in Hoxton Square, Shoreditch. You'd be working on a hybrid schedule, in the office with your team regularly, with flexibility around that. We believe in trusting people to find the balance that works for them. What you’d be doing in this role Our Account Executives work closely with our customers to understand their goals and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs. Whether it's creating eye-catching pitch decks for their sales teams, designing creative marketing materials at scale, or ensuring everyone is on-brand, our team has the expertise to help our customers in all departments succeed. You'll own a targeted book of SMB prospects, run an end to end sales cycle from initial outreach to close, and contribute directly to revenue generation. Leveraging the SPICED methodology, you'll qualify opportunities effectively, uncover customer value, and drive scalable, repeatable sales motions. This is a high impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast growing environment, enjoys autonomy, and is energized by building pipeline, closing deals, and shaping Canva’s presence in Europe. At the moment, this role is focused on: You’ll conduct outbound sales activities to identify, prospect, and engage with SMB clients. You’ll develop a deep understanding of SMB customers' needs, pain points, and objectives to tailor Canva's solutions effectively. You’ll proactively reach out to potential SMB clients via phone, email, and other channels to present Canva's value proposition and product offerings. You’ll build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with SMB clients through regular communication, follow-up, and exceptional customer service. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales & Success, Marketing, and Product, to optimize the sales process and ensure a seamless customer experience. You’ll meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, including monthly quotas and conversion rates. You’ll keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using our CRM system. You’ll stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments to effectively position Canva in the SMB market segment. You're probably a match if You have a proven track record of success in outbound sales or account management roles, preferably in a B2B or SMB-focused environment. You have strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. You have a results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You have the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You have familiarity with CRM and outreach software (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach IO, Sales Navigator and Gong) You're fluent in German . (this is a must) You have prior experience in the tech industry, SaaS sales, or working with SMB clients is a plus.
