IIS Web Server Administrator

Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IIS Web Server Administrator with 6+ years of strong experience in IIS administration (IIS 8/8.5/10/above).

Requirements

• Strong experience in IIS administration (IIS 8/8.5/10/above).
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022) administration.
• Expertise in SSL/TLS, certificates management, and HTTPS configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in IIS logs, Event Viewer, and network traces (Wireshark, Fiddler).
• Familiarity with reverse proxy, load balancing, and CDN concepts.
• Knowledge of scripting/automation (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch).
• Understanding of application security principles and web server hardening.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (SCOM, Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace).
  
  

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator / Security Operations Analyst.
• ITIL Foundation (good-to-have).
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (preferred for SecOps environments).
