The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Head of Non-Tech Talent to lead our comprehensive hiring strategy for all non-technical roles. This is a pivotal position as we build out our capabilities across General and Administrative (G&A) Go to Market (GTM) Finance, Legal, and other business-critical functions. You'll transform how we attract, hire, and develop top talent beyond while building and coaching a high performing global talent team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Talent Leadership: Develop and execute the non-tech talent strategy aligned with Cohere's growth plan and business objectives while partnering with TA leads across the organization Team Development & Coaching: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of non-tech recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators; create career paths and succession plans Process Innovation: Design and implement scalable hiring processes for non-technical roles while maintaining our high-quality standards Business Partnership: Serve as the primary talent advisor to our Talent Leads and partner closely with our Executive stakeholders within non-technical business units Employer Branding: Elevate Cohere's employer brand specifically for non-technical talent through targeted campaigns and storytelling Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish comprehensive metrics and analytics to track hiring effectiveness, quality of hire, pipeline health, and ROI for all non-tech initiatives Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain diverse talent pools for critical non-technical Director + level roles using data insights and partnering with our standalone Sourcing function Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with People Operations and business leaders to ensure seamless onboarding and integration Budget & Resource Management: Oversee non-tech recruitment budget and optimise resource allocation across priorities using data-driven forecasting Required Qualifications Experience: 12+ years in talent acquisition and leading non-technical hiring teams Super Scale Expertise: Proven success scaling recruitment functions 10x+ during hyper-growth phases (from 800+ employees) Strategic Foresight: Demonstrated ability to anticipate talent needs 6-12 months ahead of business growth curves Data-Driven Approach: Deep expertise in talent analytics, metrics development, and data-informed decision making Team Development: Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills with track record of building high-performing teams Non-Tech Focus: Deep experience hiring for HR, Admin, Support, Finance, Legal, and other business roles within a tech setting Process Excellence: Experience designing and implementing scalable, data-driven hiring processes Leadership: Strong track record of developing high performing and high volume team members and creating meaningful career progression paths Preferred Qualifications Experience in tech companies or fast-paced environments with scale experience Knowledge of AI industry and its talent landscape Experience with international hiring and remote teams Background in
