At Cohesity, we are redefining enterprise data protection and management across on-prem, SaaS, and hybrid environments. Our Product Solutions team partners with marquee customers to drive adoption of Cohesity DataProtect and SaaS offerings. By combining deep product expertise with hands-on engagement, we deliver solutions that simplify operations, ensure resilience, and protect against threats like ransomware, compliance gaps, and operational risks.

As a DataProtect Solution Architect, you will be the product and technology specialist at the architect level, bridging sales, product management, engineering, and customer success. You will design, deploy, and validate Cohesity solutions—including DataProtect, SaaS offerings, and enterprise integrations—helping customers adopt technology with confidence. This hybrid, customer-facing role requires technical depth, solution design expertise, and strong business acumen.

How You'll Spend Your Time Here

Customer Solution Design & Adoption

• Architect, design, and implement DataProtect and SaaS solutions for enterprise workloads.
• Integrate solutions into production environments across backup, file, object, and cloud-native workloads.
• Lead POCs and customer-zero validations to accelerate adoption and demonstrate outcomes.
• Deliver demos, workshops, and proposals that align technology with customer objectives.
  
  

Field & Product Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Solution Engineers, and Field teams to win complex deals.
• Evangelize Cohesity roadmap and future direction aligned with enterprise goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers, articulating value to both technical and executive audiences.
• Provide competitive intelligence to Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams.
  
  

Design, Testing & Validation

• Develop reference architectures, validation checklists, and deployment methodologies.
• Benchmark workloads and SaaS services to ensure enterprise readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to improve features, performance, and capabilities.
  
  

Enablement & Evangelism

• Train field teams, partners, and customers on product features, best practices, and deployment patterns.
• Create technical collateral—whitepapers, guides, and reference architectures—for internal and external audiences.
• Lead roadmap sessions, workshops, and deep-dive technical sessions.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and advocate for Cohesity solutions in the field.
  
  

Development & Tools

• Build wrapper scripts and automation to extend product functionality.
• Automate recurring and error-prone tasks to improve efficiency.
• Document benchmarks, test results, and workflows for reproducibility and enterprise readiness.

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of DataProtect, SaaS offerings, and file/object services.
• Hands-on expertise with disaster recovery orchestration, ransomware detection, data classification, and airgap vaulting.
• Strong understanding of enterprise operating systems, databases, hyperconverged systems, and cloud-native backups.
• Skilled in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for integrations, automation, and workflow extensions.
  
  

Enterprise Experience

• 10+ years in pre-sales or post-sales solution architecture roles.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade solutions, leading POCs, and driving adoption.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise hardware, software, virtual infrastructure, and cloud/IaaS/PaaS solutions.
  
  

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage technical and business audiences.
• Structured, proactive, and self-driven; comfortable working independently in dynamic environments.
• Trusted advisor mindset, focused on customer success and outcome delivery.
  
  

Education & Travel

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Willingness to travel 10–20% for customer and field engagements.
