Job Title: Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities:

The Accounting Analyst will be involved in the accounting operations of the company, assisting in
periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and ensuring that
reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting
standards. 

- Involved in the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Involved in General Accounting, which includes reconciliations, preparation of financial statements,
analysis and reporting.
- To co-ordinate all accounting activities associated with the General Ledger, particularly journal
entries, prepaid, fixed assets, inter-company, cash and bank.
- Manage Accounts Payable invoicing and employee claims.
- Help with the timely and accurate execution of accounting close (monthly and quarterly)
- Support in posting entries in NetSuite.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure complete accounting records for all transactions with adequate
support, in auditable form, and in accordance with US GAAP
- Assistance in preparation of audit PBCs in a timely manner.
- Support in collating data for local VAT and Tax filings for the International Subsidiaries.
- Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
- Follow Corporate policies and procedures.
- Support the Senior Accounting Manager on projects and ad hoc tasks.
- Co-ordinate with US Finance teams and other departments to complete accurate records and
provide accounting support.

Desired Skills and Experience
· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
· Chartered Accountant preferable
· 4+years in the accounting role
· Knowledge of USGAAP
· Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Sell-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic
· Attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to prioritize and function with minimal supervision

The position is based in Bangalore, and the selected candidate will be expected to work from the office three days a week.
