As a Product Manager for Security Graph Experience, you'll help security teams understand how their cloud environments are interconnected, and how attackers can exploit and move through them. Datadog's security graph connects identities, resources, findings, and signals into a unified risk model; this role owns the layer that makes it comprehensible and actionable. You'll help teams answer questions like "what does this finding affect?" and "how would an attacker move from here?" so they can act immediately. You'll partner closely with platform teams, other security product teams, and design to translate a powerful but complex data model into clear, actionable insights. This role sits at the intersection of security expertise and product craft.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
What You'll Do
- Define and build the roadmap, the query, exploration, and visualization layer that security teams use to investigate risk across cloud, code, SIEM, and workload.
- Design the query and filter model that lets analysts ask arbitrary graph questions without needing to understand the underlying data model.
- Drive the cross-product entry points into the graph, so that alerts, findings, and vulnerabilities across Cloud Security, SIEM, and Application Security all link into unified graph context naturally.
- Work closely with executives, marketing, sales, design, and support teams to successfully bring new graph-powered experiences to market.
- Develop a deep understanding of the security analyst workflow and identify where graph context changes the speed and quality of investigation decisions.
- Maintain and report to product leadership on key metrics around graph feature adoption, investigation depth, and time-to-context.
- Partner with the Security Graph Foundations PM to shape the data model and platform capabilities based on what the visualization layer needs to render correctly and performantly.
- Partner with customers directly to test graph UI concepts, validate investigation workflows, and understand where complexity becomes a blocker.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 3+ years in enterprise software, with direct experience in security products (e.g., cloud security, SIEM, vulnerability management, or workload protection).
- Committed to product craft: you care as much about how something feels to use as whether it is technically correct.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of presenting product decisions to engineers, designers, and executives with equal clarity.
- Comfortable navigating complex backend data models and translating them into UI surfaces that hide complexity without hiding information.
- Familiarity with graph data concepts (nodes, edges, traversal, path queries) at a level sufficient to collaborate with engineers building backend graphing systems.
- Understands security investigation workflows well enough to know what context an analyst needs and in what order.
- Strong design sensibility: you have worked closely with designers before and have opinions about when a visualization helps versus overwhelms.
- Regularly uses LLM-based tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate your work, from drafting PRDs and analyzing data to prototyping interaction concepts.
- Driven to build products in a high-growth environment where the surface you own is a core differentiator.
- Demonstrates strong ownership, a bias toward shipping, and clear prioritization when the design space is wide open.
