Director, Engineering – AI Product Experience

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the team responsible for how customers experience DeepIntent’s AI-powered, agentic platform for healthcare marketers. You will own the mobile apps that bring the platform to our customers end to end, and lead the engineering work behind AI product benchmarking in partnership with the Director of Product Management who owns that program. You will work closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers and be accountable for the team’s delivery and outcomes.

• Engineering Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow engineers and engineering managers, building a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Mobile Apps: Own the strategy, architecture, and delivery of our iOS and Android apps, bringing conversational, AI-driven workflows to mobile with a fast, reliable, and secure experience.
• Mobile Release and Quality: Establish release processes, app store management, crash and performance monitoring, and usage analytics so the apps ship often and reliably.
• Benchmarking Support: Partner with Product to make AI product benchmarking repeatable, leading the team that builds the test harnesses, data pipelines, and dashboards that track quality, latency, and cost across releases.
• Product and Engineering Partnership: Work with Product Managers on roadmaps, success metrics, and releases, and with Engineering Managers on APIs, dependencies, and delivery.
• Execution and Delivery: Drive planning, prioritization, and delivery predictability, and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to engineering leadership and business stakeholders.
• Engineering Excellence: Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, security, and healthcare-grade privacy.

Who You Are:

• 5–7+ years of experience in engineering management, leading cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing products.
• A track record of shipping and scaling iOS and Android apps, whether native (Swift, Kotlin) or cross-platform (React Native, Flutter).
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, client-server communication, API design, streaming and real-time UX, SSO, and app store release management.
• Experience partnering with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to translate product goals into roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and production reliability.
• Exposure to AI or LLM-powered products is a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare data, healthcare advertising, or privacy-conscious products is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and comfort owning outcomes across work-streams.
