The Role:
Our site in Pune, India is seeking an ITC (India Tech Center) Site Leader to join our team as leader of our newly formed Global Capability Center. The ITC (India Tech Center) Site Leader The ITC GCC Site Leader is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and growth of the ITC, with an initial focus on IT. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, service delivery, and innovation, and strategic growth, with the potential to expand the ITC's scope to include additional business functions. The ITC Site Leader serves as the key liaison between the GCC and global headquarters to ensure strategic alignment, foster collaboration, drive innovation, and focus on continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership
- Assist with the development and execute a phased strategy for the ITC, focusing on IT services initially while preparing for the addition of other enterprise functions.
- Build the India Tech Center- ground up partnering with local authorities, US and Asia based functional teams and helps us establish the center of digital for Entegris.
- Build an Agile IT/Digital delivery organization that builds digital solutions leveraging software engineering, data and analytics, ERP skills, Infra and cyber skills to enable the impact of Digital Business Transformation for our business.
- Act as a lead to establish our Entegris brand in India as the employer of choice. Integrate our culture and PACE values deep into the India Tech Center, right from the inception.
- Establish relationships with local universities and vendor partners to build an eco-systems of players that will help us build the digital scale in the India Tech Center
- Partner with global leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities for capability expansion.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, meeting or exceeding SLAs and KPIs
- Promote the use of automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance ITC capabilities.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver end-to-end value for the enterprise.
- Develop a 16X5 operational set up and operate two shifts to manage overlaps with US and Asia sites
- Co-ordinate with the vendor partner resources to enable scale and impact on our Digital journey. Manage contracts and vendor negotiations to optimize our digital spend while driving co-location with the vendor resources.
Team Management and Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of professionals across multiple functional areas.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Take an active role in talent acquisition, and drive retention and skill development to build a high-performing workforce.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for global stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of GCC performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to global leaders, advocating for the GCC's capabilities and value.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business units to anticipate and meet their evolving needs.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and global standards.
- Manage financial budgets, operational risks, and audit requirements effectively.
Change Management
- Drive organizational change initiatives and ensure seamless transitions for new processes or technologies.
- Promote agility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the global enterprise.
What We Seek:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP preferred).
- Experience: 10–15 years of professional experience, including at least 7–10 years in leadership roles managing large-scale operations, shared services, or capability centers.
- Skills:
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in managing large-scale operations or capability centers.
- Strategic vision with the ability to scale operations and add new capabilities over time.
- Strong understanding of GCC operations, shared services, and global business functions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities, particularly in a global context.
- Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, operational efficiency, and performance management.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams in a global context.
- Proven ability to lead organizations through phases of growth and transformation.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Experience managing or integrating additional functions, such as finance, HR, or procurement, is a strong advantage.
- Agility to adapt to evolving business priorities and emerging technologies.
