JOB DESCRIPTION: Data Visualization & Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Data Visualization & BI Specialist to transform complex data into actionable insights through compelling dashboards and reports. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop interactive visualizations, optimize BI solutions, and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive, real-time dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
• Data Storytelling: Translate complex datasets into clear, engaging, and impactful visual narratives for stakeholders.
• BI & Reporting Solutions: Build scalable business intelligence solutions to track KPIs, trends, and business performance.
• Data Integration & ETL: Work with data engineering teams to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms).
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand requirements and optimize data visualization strategies.
• Automation & Optimization: Enhance report automation, reduce manual efforts, and optimize query performance.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analytics and exploratory data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• BI & Visualization Expertise: High Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools.
• SQL & Data Manipulation: Strong experience in writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Data Modeling & ETL: Understanding of data pipelines, warehouse structures, and ETL processes.
• Python/R (Optional): Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics and automation is a plus.
• Cloud & Big Data (Bonus): Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, or Snowflake is an added advantage.
• Business Acumen: Ability to interpret data trends and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
