Design Engineer

Responsibilities :

Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using UG NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks. Create and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and engineering change records. Support product design and development activities from concept to release. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure design feasibility. Perform design modifications based on testing, customer feedback, and engineering requirements. Ensure compliance with engineering standards and company processes. Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs for product improvements.

Additional Responsibilities:

Exposure to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly). Knowledge of PLM/PDM tools. Basic understanding of product lifecycle management processes.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

Strong experience in Mechanical Design Engineering. Proficiency in UG NX / CATIA / SolidWorks. Expertise in 3D Modeling, Assembly Design, and 2D Drafting. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings. Understanding of BOM creation and design documentation. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
