Middleware / Enterprise Platforms

Role Overview-
Provide L2 support for middleware environments with a focus on IBM WebSphere Application Server. Responsible for incident resolution, routine administration, deployments, and ensuring stability of production systems.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Hands-on experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Administration
Working knowledge of JBOSS / Tomcat
Experience with IBM HTTP Server / Apache Web Server
Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments
Basic knowledge of Networking (DMZ, Firewall concepts)
Experience in WAS scripting (Jython/Jacl) and Shell/Bash scripting
Understanding of JDBC, JMS, SSL, LDAP configurations
Exposure to monitoring and troubleshooting application servers

Additional Responsibilities: • Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
• Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions
• One or two industry domain knowledge
