Role Overview-
Provide L2 support for PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments. Responsible for handling incidents, routine DBA activities, and ensuring database stability and performance.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL Database Administration (Intermediate level)
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and basic Windows administration
Experience in database backup and restore operations
Understanding of vacuum, indexing, and basic performance tuning
Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / Bash / SQL)
Exposure to database monitoring and troubleshooting

Good to Have
Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, SaltStack, Jenkins)
Basic knowledge of Python scripting
PostgreSQL certification

Additional Responsibilities: • Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
• Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions
• One or two industry domain knowledge
