Role Description

As a Data Strategy Visualization Vice President within our Firmwide Data Strategy team, you will serve as a hands-on data visualization expert, developing insights and tracking mechanisms. Your role will involve working across various systems and functions to identify data needs, designing analyses and reports, and synthesizing insights for senior leadership. You will be part of a team of skilled data scientists, promoting decision-making through insights. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing end-to-end data infrastructure solutions, data products, and analytics outputs across cloud and on-premise systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of data visualization projects to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and create effective visual solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by applying best practices in data visualization and management.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data visualization and analytics.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to various audiences, including senior management.
• Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources and visualization tools.
• Mentor junior team members on data visualization techniques and best practices and collaborate with business partners to understand their systems and processes.
• Develop structured insights from data analysis and modeling exercises on critical strategic initiatives, presenting them appropriately for the audience.
• Develop and maintain data visualization tools for telemetry and engineer machine learning solutions to automate telemetry systems.
  
  

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Formal training or certification in in data science and visualization, including developing and managing advanced BI dashboards and 5+ years applied experience.
• Strong knowledge of Tableau/Power BI dashboard design, development, and server deployment.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent languages.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), and teamwork skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Familiarity with machine learning engineering and implementing models within AWS or other cloud platforms.
