About the Role
 
Passionate about Design Systems! Excited by the idea of building scalable foundations that empower teams? Then you might be our next Product Designer 🤩
As a Product Designer II – Design Systems, you’ll be responsible for defining, building, and evolving Meesho’s design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across products. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to create reusable components, patterns, and guidelines that enable teams to build high-quality experiences faster.
In this role, you’ll break down complex UI and UX patterns into reusable, modular components and ensure their adoption across teams. Your end goal will be to improve design and development velocity while maintaining a high bar for user experience and visual quality. You’ll also play a key role in governance, documentation, and evangelization of the design system.

What you will do : Own and evolve Meesho’s Design System, including components, patterns, and guidelines Create reusable UI components, interaction patterns, and scalable frameworks for product teams Ensure consistency and quality across products by driving adoption of the design system Collaborate closely with engineering to align on component architecture, tokens, and implementation usage guidelines, and best practices Audit existing experiences and identify opportunities for standardization and improvement Enable and support product designers in using and contributing to the design system Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design standards across the system Leverage data and feedback to continuously improve system effectiveness and adoption

What you will need : 3+ years of design experience in a product company, with strong exposure to Design Systems Experience building or contributing to a Design System at scale A strong portfolio demonstrating system thinking, component design, and scalable UX patterns Proficiency in Figma (components, libraries, tokens, auto-layout, etc.) Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/React or similar) and design-engineering collaboration Strong attention to detail and visual consistency Experience working in cross-functional teams and driving alignment across stakeholders Ability to simplify complex problems into reusable solutions Experience in fast-paced environments is an added advantage Interview Process: Round 1 : Exploratory Call Round 2: Portfolio Presentation Round (with focus on systems thinking) Round 3 : Whiteboarding + Problem solving round Round 4 : Bar Raiser (Cultural fitment round)
