Job Description
- Define and standardize mechanical and cooling strategies for hyperscale data centers.
- Lead end-to-end design of advanced cooling systems for high-density AI workloads.
- Ensure integration with electrical, controls, CSA, IT, and security systems.
- Manage consultants, contractors, OEMs, and technical vendor evaluations.
- Drive compliance with industry standards, quality, and reliability requirements.
- Optimize energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational costs.
- Oversee water utility, treatment, and reuse strategies.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and leadership on design, performance, and risk management.
The Successful Applicant
Education
.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
.Master's degree in Thermal Engineering, HVAC, or related fields (preferred).
.Additional certifications such as LEED/IGBC, PMP, or Uptime Institute credentials are advantageous.Experience
. 8 to 12+ years in mechanical design for data centers, mission-critical facilities, or high-density industrial complexes.
. Strong exposure to designing cooling systems for hyperscale data centers (20 MW to 200 MW+).
. Experience with liquid cooling (DLC), immersion cooling, or advanced AI thermal solutions highly preferred.
. Experience working with major hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta) is a strong plus.
