Senior Manager, Revenue

The Revenue team is a highly visible, global team responsible for accurate and timely revenue reporting. The team manages the monthly and quarterly revenue close, supports contract review and accounting conclusions, evaluates revenue treatment for new and existing product offerings, maintains controls over revenue reporting, and supports revenue forecasting and analytics.

This role will lead the Revenue Operations team in Gurugram, India, with responsibility for managing and developing Revenue Managers and Revenue Analysts. The Senior Manager will be the primary point of leadership for the India Revenue Operations team and will be accountable for the quality and timely execution of the revenue processes owned by the team.

The role will partner closely with global Revenue leadership and cross-functional teams to manage close execution, resolve complex revenue and operational issues, strengthen processes and controls, and continue building the capabilities of the India team.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including experience in revenue accounting or revenue operations at a public, high-growth SaaS or technology company
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing Managers and individual contributors
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606, including experience with SaaS, cloud, and usage-based revenue models
• Experience owning complex revenue close processes, including revenue recognition, journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue allocations, and related analytics
• Experience reviewing customer contracts and evaluating non-standard terms and revenue accounting considerations
• Strong understanding of financial reporting controls, SOX requirements, and external audit support
• Demonstrated ability to independently assess complex issues, determine appropriate next steps and escalation, and drive matters through resolution
• Experience improving or scaling accounting processes through standardization, automation, documentation, or enhanced controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with large data sets and identify trends, exceptions, and underlying drivers
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems; NetSuite and Salesforce experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, levels, and global time zones
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and sound judgment

Position Expectations
