Backup Systems Administration Senior Associate

Key Requirements: . Requires 5-6 Years of relevant experience. . Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise backup systems including Commvault, Veeam, IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM), NetBackup, Networker and DataDomain . Manage daily backup operations, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis. . Perform regular restore testing and support recovery operations. . Maintain and optimize backup policies, schedules, and storage targets across platforms. . Administer and maintain Backend Storage and Data Domain infrastructure for backup storage and performance. . Ensure high availability and data protection across virtual and physical environments. . Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure backup coverage and capacity planning. . Document configurations, procedures, and recovery processes. . Ensure compliance with data retention policies, audit requirements, and security standards. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations . Detail oriented, customer oriented, result delivery oriented, analytic thinking . Performs incident management and change management execution. . Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations. . Good understanding on ITIL practices . Experience on industry leading IT Asset Management tools such as Service Now or Similar ticketing tools . Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions. . Works with key technical and business stakeholders to determine data backup requirements and creates solutions to meet requirements.
