Position Summary

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be a critical guardian of quality for the R&D team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the automated testing frameworks that ensure our reusable assets are robust, reliable, and bug-free. You will embed a "quality-first" mindset within the team, working closely with developers to implement comprehensive test strategies and integrate them into our CI/CD pipeline. Your work will directly ensure that the tools we provide to our field teams and partners are trusted and effective.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable automated test frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
• Write and execute automated test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage for all developed assets.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous delivery and rapid feedback.
• Work closely with developers and the Product Manager to understand requirements and identify potential quality issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Define the team's overall QA strategy, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Triage, document, and track defects, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely resolution.
• Champion quality engineering best practices across the R&D team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a QA Automation or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, Jest).
• Experience with testing both APIs (REST, GraphQL) and web front-ends.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience integrating tests into pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for building high-quality software.
