Role Overview
PhonePe is India’s leading fintech platform, deeply woven into the daily lives of over 700 million registered users. PhonePe Ads is capitalizing on this unprecedented scale, offering brands unique, deterministic audience targeting and high-intent commerce signals. With the addition of the Indus Appstore, we are building a powerhouse multi-publisher ecosystem. Indus App
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, heavyweight Ads Leader to scale PhonePe Ads and build the App Partnerships & Endemic Advertising for Indus Appstore.This is a zero to one role with an existing large PnL mandate for the PhonePe Ads.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Ownership & Strategic Growth
- P&L Management: Own and deliver the annual revenue mandate for large enterprise clients across assigned verticals
- Joint Business Planning (JBPs): Establish and institutionalize strategic, long-term partnerships and JBPs with C-level executives and marketing heads of top-tier brands and media agencies.
- Multi-Publisher Monetization: Drive ad adoption across both the PhonePe Consumer Payments App (high-intent transaction traffic) and the Indus Appstore (app discovery and distribution traffic) along with a suite of external publishers in the near-term
2. Business Setup & Scaling (0 to 1)
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Define the value proposition, ad product positioning, and pricing strategies tailored for large enterprise clients.
- Product Collaboration: Work closely with the Ad Product and Engineering teams to feed market insights back into the roadmap, helping build scalable ad tech solutions (branding, performance, and programmatic).
- PhonePe Ads Penetration: Drive larger share of digital marketing spends of top clients across both Brand & Performance marketing for Direct as well as Agencies
