About the Role We're looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the vision and roadmap for Render's infrastructure platform. This is a role for someone who wants to define what a modern cloud platform looks like in an era where AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built and run. You'll drive the technical and strategic direction for Render's core platform, working directly with infrastructure engineering to shape architectural decisions. You’ll engage with Render's customers and our product development teams to develop a deep understanding of their needs and build conviction about where the platform needs to go next. What You'll Do: Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the the foundational primitives upon which everything at Render is built. Your scope spans compute & orchestration, network topology, traffic, and routing features, and data storage infrastructure.. Drive prioritization across Render's platform investments, balancing the leverage of foundational capabilities against near-term product and business needs and being able to negotiate those tradeoffs. Partner deeply with Engineering & other Product teams to shape the technical direction of Render's core infrastructure, ensuring architectural decisions optimize for long-term reliability, performance, and extensibility. You’ll own the base layer of our stack, so having the dexterity to understand the shape of our other Product investment areas is essential. Develop a strong, opinionated point of view on how Render's platform primitives need to evolve to serve AI-native builders, from compute and orchestration to storage and runtime.
