The Team

S&P Global Commodity Insights provides essential intelligence for global commodity markets. Our team ensures data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility while driving innovation through technologies and data management practices. Responsibilities And Impact

This role includes key duties include comprehensive data management and analysis, where data is meticulously gathered from multiple sources such as Salesforce, Finance, Oracle, Zuora and various product teams. This involves cleaning and organizing datasets to derive valuable insights for client deliverables, working on Snowflake or AWS to govern the database and identify which data needs to be masked based on PII, OFAC and other sanctions based on the directions given by the compliance. Additionally, the role entails working closely with stakeholders from Finance, Product and commercial operations teams to make sure relevant data is being processed inside Snowflake. Project coordination is also crucial, involving the organization and tracking of project timelines and deliverables, leading multidisciplinary teams, developing tracker, provide regular updates to all the stakeholders and preparing essential meeting materials and status reports. Quality assurance is maintained through the review of deliverables and peer evaluations. Furthermore, diligent documentation management to ensure accuracy and standardization across project-related materials.

Responsibilities Include The Following

• Data Governance inside Data Warehouse
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures within Snowflake or AWS.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
• Implement Snowflake's built-in security features such as row-level and column-level access controls.
• Use Snowflake's dynamic data masking to protect sensitive data.
• Apply object tagging to classify and manage sensitive data efficiently.
• Access Control and Masking
• Develop and implement data Design and apply masking policies based on roles and conditions in Snowflake or AWS.
• Implement tag-based masking to automatically protect sensitive data.
• Ensure that access is restricted based on row-level and column-level policies.
• Project Coordination and Administrative Support:
• Organize, Plan, Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring all team members meet deadlines.
• Leads multidisciplinary teams, clearly communicating project objectives and expectations to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare meeting materials, project status reports, and assist in day-to-day administrative tasks related to project management.
• Quality Assurance:
• Review deliverables to ensure quality and consistency, following firm and client standards.
• Conduct peer reviews of documents and presentations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data by implementing data validation processes and conducting quality assurance checks.
  

Required Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Snowflake
• Salesforce hands on experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with data management technologies, database administration, and analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent project ownership, influencing and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Work Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar analyst role, preferably within consulting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of applications such as Marketo, Oracle & Zuora platforms.
• Ability to work in an agile environment with focus on LEAN approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Certifications: -
• Salesforce Admin or Salesforce Business Analyst
• Lean Six Sigma
• PMP or Prince2
