About the Role The Deployment Strategist owns the delivery of Sarvam's client projects from pilot to working outcome in production. You are the point of accountability for planning, tracking, and executing each engagement, ensuring the client and every internal team stay aligned throughout. You will work at the intersection of the client, the delivery team (FDSEs, CSEs, CSMs), operational partners such as language experts and QC reviewers, and Sarvam's product and engineering functions. You gather requirements, build the delivery plan, and drive it to completion. You resolve day-to-day queries yourself and escalate platform-level issues to Forward Deployed Software Engineers, so they can concentrate on the fix while you hold the client relationship and timeline steady. This is an operations and execution role at its core. Delivery is the goal, and disciplined management of stakeholders, internal teams, and the project itself is how you get there. What You'll Do • Gather and document requirements from the client once a project is signed, translating them into a clear, agreed scope • Build and own the delivery plan, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies that all stakeholders commit to • Set up and maintain trackers and dashboards that keep every stakeholder, internal and external, aligned on status, risks, and next steps • Coordinate execution across everyone a project touches: the client, delivery and engineering teams, and operational partners such as language experts and QC reviewers • Serve as a point of contact for the client, resolving routine queries directly and independently • Investigate issues as they arise, resolve those within your scope, and escalate platform-level problems to Forward Deployed Software Engineers with clear, specific context • Manage operational workstreams with disciplined tracking and follow-through, ensuring nothing slips across parallel threads • Keep internal teams and client stakeholders aligned on expectations, progress, and changes throughout the engagement lifecycle What We're Looking For • 2-4 years of experience in project delivery, operations, product support, customer success, or pre-sales within technology, SaaS, or AI/ML products • Strong operational and execution skills: you plan meticulously, close loops, and consistently drive work to completion • A proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, internal teams, and clients at the same time while keeping the project on track • Comfort holding several contexts at once and moving between them cleanly, without letting anything slip • Enough technical understanding to reason about issues, reproduce them, and hold a credible conversation with engineering and product teams. You do not need to write code, but you should understand how APIs, integrations, and AI workflows connect • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain clear and composed when a project is under pressure Bonus Points • Prior experience delivering AI, ML, or data products, or working with language, speech, or localization workflows • Familiarity with project and issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or Asana, and a habit of building clean, transparent trackers • Experience coordinating distributed operational teams such as annotators, reviewers, or language specialists • Experience working alongside Forward Deployed Engineering, pr
