Principal Systems Design Engineer

Role Summary We are seeking a hands-on Principal Infrastructure Architect & Engineer to lead the technical integrations in the core infrastructure space. This role requires deep expertise across networking, cloud, identity, and collaboration platforms, with the ability to align teams and drive integration outcomes effectively. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Integration & Assessment Lead discovery and capability assessment across environments. Develop integration roadmap with dependencies and milestones. Serve as primary liaison between organizations. Align with enterprise architecture standards. Networking (Physical, WiFi & Cloud) Integrate physical and wireless network environments. Implement VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking. Ensure consistent routing, segmentation, and security. Monitor and resolve performance issues. Cloud Hosting & SRE Define rationalized cloud hosting strategy (AWS, Azure, GCP). Apply SRE principles (SLOs, SLAs, observability). Implement IaC, CI/CD, and automation. Establish unified monitoring frameworks. Identity & Access Management Integrate IAM systems (Okta, Entra ID). Implement SSO, MFA, and directory sync. Enforce RBAC, PAM, least privilege. Ensure regulatory compliance. Collaboration & Messaging Define unified collaboration platform strategy. Lead Messaging and Collaboration tool alignment. Manage data migration and compliance. Ensure smooth end-user transition. Security & Governance Align with SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, CMMC/FedRamp Implement and validate security controls. Establish governance standards.Operational Resilience Ensure HA, DR, and business continuity. Monitor performance and capacity. Conduct DR testing and validation.

'To be successful in this role, you will have: 12+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture. Experience with M&A integrations. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Technical Skills Networking: LAN/WAN, WiFi, SD-WAN, cloud networking. Cloud & SRE: AWS, Azure, GCP, IaC, CI/CD. IAM: Okta, Entra ID, SSO, MFA. Collaboration: O365, Slack, migration experience. Leadership Competencies Strong stakeholder communication. Decision-making in complex environments. Ability to manage multiple workstreams. Preferred Qualifications Enterprise architecture certifications (TOGAF, etc.). Experience in regulated environments. ServiceNow familiarity. Cloud and ITIL certifications. For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $192,600 - $337,100 , plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
