Senior Software Engineer

What you get to do in this role Design and develop scalable, reliable and maintainable software across the stack. Partner with product managers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions and own features end-to-end. Build intuitive, extensible experiences using modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue. Design and deliver new products and features while enhancing existing capabilities. Embed automated testing and quality practices across functional, integration, regression and performance testing. Participate in design and code reviews, championing engineering best practices, performance and maintainability. Troubleshoot complex systems, optimise performance and strengthen reliability, observability and production readiness. Share knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you have: Experience in leveraging critical thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry. 6+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products. Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java or similar object-oriented languages. Experience with modern front-end frameworks, such as React, Angular or Vue. Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patterns. Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows, including validating datasets, model outputs or inference consistency. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimise performance across the stack. Familiarity with modern development tools, including IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control and Unix-based systems. A demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking when using AI to improve workflows, decision-making and problem-solving.
