VP, Product Management: Application Developer Platform

We are seeking a highly strategic and deeply technical Vice President to own product strategy for one of the most transformative businesses within ServiceNow's AI Platform group: AI Application Development. This VP will lead a team of senior product managers and serve as a strategic partner to the SVP of AI Platform. The ServiceNow developer platform is not a supporting capability; it is a critical growth lever of the company, and its mission is as follows: Empower builders and developers to discover, build, deploy, and govern enterprise AI Applications that reason about and automate complex and bespoke business processes. This is intelligent, AI-powered application development, enabling every enterprise to discover and compose AI applications that learn from data, make decisions, and handle complex workflows with limited human intervention. The more builders and developers (human and agent alike) who build on ServiceNow, the deeper ServiceNow's operational footprint becomes across the enterprise. The market is signaling that vibe coding, AI-assisted development, and agentic application building are capturing developer imagination at a pace we have not seen in a decade. Enterprises are actively searching for a trusted platform to standardize on, and ServiceNow, with 20+ years of enterprise process depth, a governed data layer, and Action Fabric as the execution runtime, is uniquely positioned to win that category. This is the moment to make ServiceNow the home for every builder, and we need a visionary leader to seize it. What you get to do in this role Define and own the multi-year product vision. Set the strategic direction for how enterprises discover, build, deploy, and govern AI applications on ServiceNow. Translate market signals, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback into a product vision that spans the full developer surface area, from professional engineers to low-code builders, and define the multi-year roadmap the organization executes against. Own go-to-market strategy and developer adoption. Define positioning, packaging, and adoption strategy for the AI Application Development Platform. Partner with sales, GTM, and partner teams to drive customer acquisition and expansion. Set adoption metrics (developer velocity, application deployment rates, time-to-value) and own the developer ecosystem story, including how ServiceNow attracts and retains builders across the enterprise. Translate the frontier of AI development into platform primitives. Stay at the leading edge of vibe coding, AI-assisted development, and agentic application building. Understand where developer tooling, LLM-assisted workflows, and open-source ecosystems are heading, and translate those patterns into scalable, enterprise-grade platform capabilities that compound ServiceNow's developer advantage over time. Lead and grow a world-class product organization. Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team of senior product managers. Establish PM discipline, culture, and operating rigor that emphasizes technical depth, customer empathy, and rigorous prioritization. Develop the next generation of product leaders and create an organization that is a competitive differentiator in talent. Drive cross-functional alignment at the executive level. Serve as the central product voice for the platform across engineering, design, and go-to-market. Influence architecture and product direction across multiple teams and organizations. Make hard prioritization and tradeoff decisions and communicate them with clarity and confidence to VP+ and C-suite stakeholders.
