Lead Software Engineer

Role: Engineering Lead, Finance (AI Tools)

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: Long Term (with a possibility of contract to hire)

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: Hybrid - 1x day onsite in Bangalore or Chennai

Seeking a senior, hands-on Engineering Lead to own technical direction and delivery of AI-powered applications across the enterprise. The role combines technical leadership, full-stack engineering, GenAI, AWS, data, and enterprise integrations.

Must Have:

• Senior-level engineering leadership / technical direction experience
• Strong Python + JavaScript/TypeScript
• React + FastAPI/Flask/Node.js
• Hands-on LLM, RAG, OpenAI APIs, prompt engineering
• Strong AWS experience
• Strong SQL and large-data experience
• Oracle Fusion experience – MUST
• API/system architecture and production application experience
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder management

Nice to Have: Vector DBs, LangChain/LlamaIndex, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, Databricks/Spark, MLOps/LLMOps.
