Card Functional Tester

1. Strong functional testing experience in the Cards & Payments domain with expertise in validating end-to-end business processes and customer journeys.
2. Hands-on knowledge of the complete Debit Card and Credit Card lifecycle, including: Card Issuance & Activation, PIN Management, Transaction Processing, Authorization, Clearing & Settlement, Billing & Payments, Delinquency Management, Disputes & Chargebacks, Card Replacement, Renewal, Blocking and Closure
3. Experience with OTS/VTS simulators and card transaction validation across different payment networks.
4. Strong understanding of ATM, POS, E-commerce, Contactless, Domestic and International card transaction flows.
5. Experience in validating Mobile Banking card functionalities, including: Card Controls, Card Activation, PIN Services, Transaction Limits, Temporary Block/Unblock, Card-related Service Requests
6. Ability to analyze business requirements, prepare test scenarios, execute test cases, validate system behavior, and support defect resolution.
7. Strong knowledge of functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, positive/negative, and boundary testing concepts.
8. Experience in transaction validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis across Cards & Payments systems.
9. Ability to collaborate with Business, Product, Development, and dependent teams for requirement clarification, test data preparation, and issue resolution.
10. Familiarity with testing and defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Cards & Payments / Banking domain experience.
• Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, RuPay transaction processing.
• Understanding of ISO 8583 messages and payment processing lifecycle.
• Exposure to digital banking and card management platforms.

Mandatory Skill: End-to-end Cards domain experience covering Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Transaction Processing, Clearing & Settlement, Disputes, Chargebacks, and Mobile Banking Card Services.
