Experience: 6–10 Years
Education:
• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 +
3)
• Non-technical graduation and/or masters in finance &
accounts stream -BCOM, MCOM, MBA in Finance, CA/ICWA or Engineering background
with proven green belt or transformation expertise in Finance and Accounts
processes.
Must Have Skills:
• Lean Six Sigma certified or formally trained
• Finance and Accounting domain experience
• Proven track record of leading and/or mentoring multiple
Lean Six Sigma improvement projects
• US corporate tax, SALT and ASC 740 management
• Tax accounting, risk, controls and deliverable review
• Stakeholder, client and team leadership

Role Summary The Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
manages tax compliance support, workpaper preparation, filings support, and tax
audit support, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution while
driving service performance, controls, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather
and validate data for direct and indirect tax compliance
- Prepare
tax workpapers and supporting documentation
- Support
preparation of tax returns and filing readiness
- Track
tax compliance calendar activities and deadlines
- Support
reconciliations of tax accounts and balances
- Assist
with tax audit data gathering and documentation
- Maintain
accurate tax records and audit trails
- Review
tax workpapers and supporting schedules for accuracy
- Support
direct, indirect, and payroll tax compliance activities
- Perform
analysis of tax provisions, adjustments, and reconciliations
- Coordinate
with internal teams and external advisors on tax matters
- Manage
tax compliance operations and workpaper delivery
- Monitor
tax compliance timeliness, accuracy, and audit readiness
- Drive
standardization and automation of tax data and reporting
- Ensure
adherence to tax controls, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Supervise
a small team and manage day-to-day work allocation
- Track
service levels and support performance reviews
Experience & Skills
- 6–8
years of experience in Corpora te Tax or Finance Shared Services
- Understanding
of corporate tax compliance and workpaper preparation
- Knowledge
of direct and indirect tax processes
- Experience
with ERP and tax reporting tools
- Strong
analytical, documentation, and compliance orientation
- Proven
analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability
to work in high-volume, SLA-driven environments
- People
management and stakeholder coordination skills
