Title: Embedded Lead with Functional Safety
Location: Bangalore
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Embedded Lead with strong exposure on Functional Safety to drive safety-critical software architecture and development for next-generation Automotive SoC-based platforms, including Digital Cockpit, ADAS, Autonomous Driving (AD) systems etc.
Required Skills
•
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics communication with 8 to 12 years of relevant software engineering experience.
•
Industry experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive domain.
•
Experience of BSP bring up on various hardware platforms.
•
Good understanding of SoC architecture, ARM architecture, SoC Peripherals, low level BSP Software/drivers, RTOS.
•
Experience in device driver development along with various peripheral bring up like I2C, SPI.
•
Experience in Linux kernel and RTOS development (Safe RTOS, Free RTOS).
•
Knowledge of Functional Safety Architecture, Safety Analysis Techniques like FMEA and DFA.
•
Hands-on experience with ISO 26262, with strong focus on Part 6 (Software Development).
•
Exposure to SOTIF (ISO 21448) is a plus.
•
Knowledge of ASPICE and alignment of safety activities with quality processes.
•
Excellent understanding of operating systems such as Linux/QNX/RTOS.
•
Hands-on programming expertise in C/C++.
Responsibilities
•
Lead development of base platform with compliance towards standards like ISO26262.
•
Involved in BSP bring up activities along with driver development.
•
Drive the safety lifecycle ensuring ASIL levels are realized.
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, validation, and application teams.
•
Act as a technical mentor and problem solver for complex embedded issues.
•
Ensure best practices in embedded software architecture and development.
•
Able to communicate and coordinate functional safety topics across stakeholders
•
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
