Informatica Developer

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with business analysts to understand and refine requirements. 

• Translate mapping requirements into Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows. 

• Tune Informatica mappings and database queries for performance. 

• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate optimizations. 

• Create shell scripts to automate recurring operational tasks. 

• Prepare test cases and document unit-test results.

 • Schedule and monitor jobs using AutoSys or a comparable scheduling tool

Must-have 

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, including Designer, Repository Manager, and Workflow Manager.

 • Experience building complex SQL queries and shell scripts. 

• Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL Server database models. 

• Strong understanding of data warehousing fundamentals and concepts. 

• Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data from sources such as flat files, Oracle and SQL Server databases, and mainframe files. 

Good-to-have

 Knowledge of AutoSys, Jira, PowerExchange, and Agile methodologies.
