Lead Automation tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python, Selenium, Java, and BDD Cucumber.
• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Create test plans, test scenarios, test cases, traceability matrices, and execution reports.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Manage defect tracking, reporting, and resolution using Jira.
• Collaborate with business, development, and cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
• Ensure software quality through automation, continuous testing, and best QA practices.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET).
• Strong expertise in Python, Selenium, Java, BDD Cucumber Framework.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Git, Docker, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test automation frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience in test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in AI-powered test case generation and automation.
• Exposure to BFSI, Financial Services, or Securities domain.

Qualification: Any Graduate (IT preferred)
