Role: Network security engineer

Must have skills: Network security (Check point, Palo alto, Cisco, WAF, NAC)

Good to have skills: Firewalls., Web Application Firewall (WAF)

Roles and responsibilities:

• Deep technical expertise in the Network security technology domain with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas – Firewalls (Palo alto/checkpoint/FortiGate/cisco), IPS/IDS, Web Proxy, NAC, VPN.
• Proven experience in maintaining security solutions across enterprise environments.
• Network security deployment & configuration
• Creation and modification of custom rules for IPS services
• Monitoring security advisory groups to ensure all necessary security updates, patches, and preventive measures are in place.
• Device upgrade and patch management Configuration and change management.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for the Firewall Management Service.
• Responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and operation of firewall setups and management.
• Your role involves resolving operational incidents, managing firewall security policies and rule sets, and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
• Should have very good experience of software patch management to manage the Firewall patch management cycle, patch testing and deployment of patches on timely basis
• Candidate should have knowledge of backup and restoration for configurat ion as per defined backup and restoration policy
• Initial firewall/IPS testing of parameters, operation, support, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of Analysis of IPSec VPNs implementation and Manage and Monitor all VPN connectivity.
• Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Support client with Firewall Management related questions including those related to remediation procedures.
