Oracle EBS

The Oracle EBS Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting technical components across Oracle E‑Business Suite modules. The role requires strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, OAF, Workflow, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Customizations, and API/Integration development to support business processes.

 --> Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Design & Development

 Develop and maintain RICEW components:
Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows.
Build and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, views, and triggers.
Customize and extend Oracle EBS using:

Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports
Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
Workflow Builder
BI Publisher Reports

 Create inbound/outbound interfaces using API, open interface tables, and web services.

 2. Functional Collaboration & Solutioning 

Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements.
Provide technical feasibility, impact analysis, and design documentation.
Participate in requirement gathering, solution blueprinting, and UAT support. 

 

3. Integrations & APIs 

Develop integrations between Oracle EBS and external systems using:

 REST/SOAP Web Services
Oracle SOA Suite / Middleware
XML Gateway

 Utilize Oracle public APIs, EDI, and flat‑file based integrations.
