Position:  Solution Architect– Aviation 
Location:  Gurgaon, India (Preferred)  
   
The Opportunity   
This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Travel & Aviation vertical, leading all pre‑sales, proactive, and reactive 
solution pursuits as the primary solution architect. The ideal candidate brings deep airline domain expertise, hands‑on 
experience with industry tools and applications, and a strong understanding of the digital and contact center landscape 
within Travel & Aviation. 
A seasoned industry professional, the candidate will lead global pursuits, build end‑to‑end solution strategies, and drive all 
client‑facing engagements. The role requires strong capability in constructing business value narratives, modernizing airline 
operations (Reservations, Ticketing, Disruptions, Loyalty, Refunds, Claims), and designing next‑gen experience and 
operational models using automation, analytics, and Agentic AI. 
  
  
The Responsibilities & Duties   
Solutioning & Deal Leadership 
1. Lead solution design, approach, and strategy across proactive and reactive deal pursuits for the Travel & 
Aviation portfolio. 
2. Build end‑to‑end solution constructs covering operations, transformation, financial modeling, and delivery 
constructs. 
3. Own creation and review of proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, client presentations, and commercial 
constructs. 
4. Engage directly with clients as a solution leader—confidently articulating industry insights, operational 
models, and transformation roadmaps.  
Domain Expertise – Travel & Aviation 
5. Demonstrated knowledge of global airline operations including:  
6. Reservation & Ticketing 
7. Fares & Pricing 
8. Interline & Codeshare processes 
9. Disruption management (IRROPS) 
10. Passenger Revenue Accounting (PRA) 
11. Loyalty program operations 
12. Baggage, Claims, Refunds & Customer Relations 
13. Strong familiarity with IATA standards (Offer & Order, NDC/ONE Order — desirable). 
Tools & Application Knowledge 
14. Hands on understanding of key travel and airline applications such as: 
15. GDS/CRS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, Galileo) 
16. Airline DCS platforms (e.g., Altea DCS, SabreSonic) 
17. PNR management tools, queue management systems, fare filing applications 
18. Internal airline workflow tools, knowledgebases, and case management platforms 
19. Awareness of emerging aviation tech, cloud systems, contact center modernization, and self service 
platforms. 
Sales Partnership & Market Strategy 
20. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales teams for customer pursuits, GTM programs, and value proposition 
creation. 
21. Maintain a strong pipeline for the Travel domain, ensuring strategic alignment with enterprise growth goals. 
22. Provide competitive intelligence relating to industry trends, pricing bench marks, and competitor strategies. 
Operational & Regulatory Understanding 
23. Ability to assess end to end airline customer journeys across upstream/downstream processes. 
24. Sound understanding of industry compliance (PCI DSS, GDPR, DOT regulations, airline safety & data 
governance norms). 
Transformation & AI-Driven Strategy 
25. Identify and design opportunities for transformation across automation, digital self service, analytics, and 
workforce optimization. 
26. Conceptualize and architect solutions using Agentic AI, enabling autonomous workflows, disruption 
handling, and customer assistance. 
27. Ensure responsible, ethical, and secure use of AI across all solutioning constructs. 
28. Client Engagement & Leadership 
29. Confidently represent solutions in client meetings, orals, due diligence sessions, and executive reviews. 
30. Present industry insights, deal recommendations, and airline business cases to senior client stakeholders. 
 
 
  
  
 
 
The Qualifications   
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field. 
• 18+ years of experience in the Travel, Aviation & Airlines domain (entire tenure preferred within Travel BPO, 
Airline SSC, or Tier 1 airline operations). 
• Minimum 10 years in client‑facing or contact center environments for Travel & Aviation. 
• Must have hands‑on experience with airline tools (GDS/CRS/DCS). 
• Strong techno-functional expertise in airline operations and customer service processes. 
• Preferred: Certifications in IATA, Airline Retailing (NDC/ONE Order), GDS systems, or related industry 
credentials. 
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills — able to converse credibly with senior 
airline stakeholders.
