We are in the process of establishing an Accounting Center of Excellence (COE) to strengthen our global accounting capabilities and provide a scalable foundation for the future. The COE will focus on consistency, accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across accounting processes, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. It will also drive process improvements, automation, and knowledge sharing across regions.

In this role, you will play a key part in the Accounting COE by owning end-to-end global statutory reporting processes across multiple jurisdictions. You will partner closely with Corporate Controllership, Regional Controllers, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and external advisors to ensure accurate and compliant local reporting. Beyond operational delivery, you will help drive the transformation of statutory reporting through process standardization, Workiva-enabled financial statement preparation, and the adoption of automation and AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and support a scalable global reporting model. 

Job responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end global statutory reporting process across global entities, ensuring accurate local books, timely compliance, and scalable reporting processes.
  • Coordinate statutory reporting timelines and ensure all local statutory adjustments are appropriately reflected in financial records.
  • Prepare local statutory financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and footnote disclosures, in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS requirements.
  • Drive the transformation of statutory financial statement preparation and review processes by implementing Workiva-based reporting solutions and leveraging automation and AI capabilities to standardize workflows, strengthen controls, and improve the efficiency and quality of global statutory reporting.
  • Partner with Regional Controllership and Internal Audit teams to support internal and external statutory audits across global entities, providing high-quality deliverables, reconciliations, and timely resolution of audit inquiries.
  • Partner with Corporate Controllership to perform detailed Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow analytics, providing meaningful variance commentary and ensuring alignment between US GAAP and local books.
  • Maintain robust STAT-to-GAAP reconciliations, ensuring all reconciling items are fully supported, documented, and understood.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance frameworks across statutory reporting processes.
  • Support Regional Controllers and Tax teams with statutory-related matters, including corporate tax filings, statistical returns, and local regulatory inquiries.
  • Lead process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across regions, developing common templates, schedules, and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Contribute to the development of the Accounting COE, helping design scalable, compliant, and efficient global statutory reporting processes.

Job qualifications

Technical Skills

  • CPA or CA with 5+ years PQE accounting experience, or CA Inter/postgraduate in Finance/Accounting with 7–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting transactions typical for a globally distributed professional services business
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits across multiple jurisdictions.
