OwlSurance Technologies (OST), is a business unit of ValueMomentum Inc., that delivers cloud-based solutions to customers in P&C domain that includes Insurance carriers, MGAs, Program Administrators, etc.

OST Professional Services group drives project delivery for a wide range of customers ranging from implementation of solutions leveraging ValueMomentum's Product and Platform offerings, modern commercial off the shelf products/platforms, as well as custom built solutions and services. The project teams in this unit work closely with multiple internal teams including Product Engineering teams to deliver solutions as per ValueMomentum's standards.

Job Description

Senior Data Quality Analyst is expected to develop procedures to enhance the accuracy and integrity of the organization's data. Senior Data Quality Analyst performing data analysis, collaborating with database developers to enhance data collection and storage procedures, and preparing data analysis reports.

Key roles and responsibilities of a Senior Data Quality Analyst:

• Monitoring, investigating, and maintaining ongoing production systems, specifically triggered and schedule ETL pipelines and data ingestion patterns.
• Continually focus on self-development by allocating time to continually develop your ingestion, ETL and general data skills.
• Optimization and refactoring of existing platform and legacy solutions.
• Migration of legacy systems into a modern data platform.
• Collaborating with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes.
• Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
• Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
• Reporting data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.
• Documenting processes and maintaining data records.
• Adhering to best practices in data analysis and collection.
  
  

Skills And Experience

8+ years of relevant IT experience in the following areas, including implementation experience in Data QA.

• At least 6 years of experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL).
• In-depth knowledge of various testing approaches, Excel, Python.
• Extensive experience with validation of Business Intelligence reports
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in data analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
