About The Job:
We are seeking a Software Engineer who loves music, data, and building world-class systems that scale to solve data problems. This team is building a powerful new platform that puts clear, meaningful insights into the hands of artists and songwriters. The app lets WMG artists, songwriters, their managers, and teams access real-time information about streaming performance, fan engagement, and earnings across various platforms.

Your Role:: Reimagine and implement the future of tech for the music industry Work as part of a dynamic and highly effective team Own the creation and delivery of highly innovative products Learn and grow as a professional through close collaboration with your team members and engineering leaders, and by being part of a culture of continuous improvement and learning

Here you’ll get to:: Own features through full development lifecycle, including design, creation, test, deployment, and maintenance Write clean, optimized and reusable code Deliver work following established standards and best practices, such as test automation, test coverage, etc Create clear, comprehensive technical design documents Take advantage of mentorship from more experienced engineers, and do not shy away from mentoring more junior engineers

About you:: You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field You have 3 to 7 years of experience working in Java with solid full-stack experience. You write maintainable code, and review code of your peers You have strong operational excellence best practices: Testing, monitoring, paging, and incident management You write or refactor code with maintainability and optimization in mind, improve test coverage, and have sound judgment when making design tradeoff decisions.
