You’ll join the newly established Business Technology Team to build the AI and automation that power Zip’s pipeline generation and sales motion. Your goal is to make AI part of how every rep works, measured in pipeline and rep time, not demos. You’ll play a critical role in how our GTM workflows, tools, and data connect to drive prospecting efficiency and scale across the Sales and BDR organizations. This role primarily focuses on the presales motion, from BDR through AE. You’ll design and build the technical foundation that makes our revenue team faster, smarter, and more effective - driving transformational AI productivity benefits, not just 5-10% improvements This is a rare opportunity to help define a new discipline at Zip. You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, working across Sales and Marketing Operations, Business Technology, Internal AI, and Sales Leadership to turn complex business challenges into automated solutions reps actually use. If you thrive at the intersection of go-to-market strategy, systems design, and hands-on execution, this is your role. What You’ll Do Build the GTM automation engine. Design scalable, high-velocity workflows that improve rep efficiency, reduce friction, and accelerate pipeline generation. Use tools like Clay and n8n to build event-based workflows that enrich data, route accounts, and trigger personalized outreach actions at scale. Turn sales goals into projects. Take a goal from sales leadership, like lifting outbound reply rates, and turn it into a set of projects you propose, pitch, and build. You're a partner in planning before decisions are made, not an order-taker. Operationalize AI and enrichment. Partner with the GTM Ops and Business Technology teams to evaluate and implement AI and enrichment tools to boost outbound quality and personalization, leveraging data from Salesforce, Gong, Clay, and other systems. Own what you build. Take workflows from idea to rollout: scope them with sales leaders, build, pilot with reps, launch, and iterate based on adoption and impact. Part of the job is selling it to the team, because a tool reps don't adopt might as well not exist. Measure impact. Track what your builds deliver (rep time saved, pipeline influenced, adoption), and cut or tweak what doesn't work. Innovate and experiment. Pilot new tools, integrations, and AI workflows. You’ll test what’s next in GTM technology and scale the ones that work. You understand the vendor landscape well enough to buy when that beats building. What We're Looking For 4+ total years of experience in a combination of GTM engineering, sales ops/RevOps, or business systems, ideally in a fast-moving B2B SaaS environment. Preferred: 1-2 years in seat as a BDR, SDR, AE, sales engineer, or equivalent. You know the day-to-day pressure of a pipeline number. Working experience with Salesforce. Hands-on Clay (or similar) and Gong (or Chorus) experience strongly preferred; n8n, Zap
