As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system support processes and reduce downtime.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service.
• Strong knowledge of server configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting within Windows environments.
• Ability to manage and monitor system performance, security, and backups effectively.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues impacting business-critical applications.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
• This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
