Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and collaboration with different teams to maintain service reliability and efficiency throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
• Monitor system alerts and logs to detect and address potential issues before they impact users.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across multiple platforms and environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance.
