Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and analyzing various components of essential business systems. The role requires identifying issues swiftly and providing effective solutions to maintain seamless operations. Collaboration with different teams and continuous engagement in problem-solving activities are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring the stability and reliability of critical infrastructure services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and issue resolution.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure Service Management.
• Good To Have Skills: Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools and techniques to detect and resolve system issues.
• Experience in managing service requests and maintaining service level agreements effectively.
• Ability to analyze complex system interactions and troubleshoot multi-layered technical problems.
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and best practices to support continuous improvement.
