As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the intended requirements. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, guiding the team through challenges and facilitating smooth communication across departments to deliver high-quality software products.

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Strong knowledge of IT service management processes and workflows.
• Experience in application design, configuration, and integration within enterprise environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools related to IT operations.
