Summary:

As a Data Centre Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the physical infrastructure of the data center, ensuring optimal utilization of floor space, maintaining environmental controls such as air conditioning and power supply, and coordinating installations. The role includes managing relationships with various vendors and their equipment, ensuring continuous operation of critical services around the clock. Additionally, the position requires supervising data center operators and monitoring system events to maintain smooth and uninterrupted service delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and maintenance of hardware and infrastructure components.
• Monitor and manage 24/7 data center operations to guarantee service availability and reliability.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of batch processes and system event monitoring activities.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
• Experience in managing physical data center infrastructure including power, cooling, and space management.
• Strong understanding of vendor management and contract coordination.
• Ability to monitor and manage continuous operations and system event alerts effectively.
• Skilled in supervising and leading data center operations teams to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
