Project Role : Data & Insights Interaction Designer

Project Role Description : Use a human-centered design approach to identify user, data, business, and contextual requirements; identify opportunities for UI/UX transformation; envision new data, analytics, and AI-powered VIS/BI interactions and experiences; rapidly design and create interactive, data-driven, industry-and function-centered low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes.

Summary:

As a Data and Insights Interaction Designer, a typical day involves deeply understanding the needs and contexts of users, data, and business environments through a human-centered design lens. This role focuses on discovering opportunities to enhance user interfaces and experiences by integrating data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. The day is spent envisioning innovative interactions and crafting both low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes that are tailored to specific industries and functions. Collaboration and creativity are key as the designer rapidly iterates on solutions that bring data-driven insights to life in engaging and intuitive ways.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the design process by translating complex data and AI concepts into user-friendly visual and interactive experiences.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between design, data science, and business objectives.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their design approach.
• Continuously evaluate and improve design methodologies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Generative AI.
• Experience in designing interactive data visualizations and user interfaces that leverage artificial intelligence capabilities.
• Strong skills in creating wireframes and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Ability to apply human-centered design principles to complex data and analytics projects.
• Familiarity with tools and techniques for rapid prototyping and iterative design.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with diverse teams.
