Summary:

As a Data Platform Architect, a typical day involves designing and shaping the overall data platform framework, ensuring that all components align with the strategic vision. This role requires close collaboration with various architecture teams to create seamless integration across systems and data models. The position demands a thoughtful approach to building scalable and efficient data solutions that support organizational needs, while continuously refining the platform to adapt to evolving business requirements and technological advancements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
• Should have influencing and Advisory skills.
• Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
• Lead the development and refinement of data platform strategies to support enterprise-wide data initiatives.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture consistency and integrity.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and guiding best practices in data platform design and implementation.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Architecture Principles.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices for scalable data solutions.
• Experience with designing data integration strategies and ensuring interoperability between diverse systems.
• Ability to evaluate and select appropriate data storage and processing technologies based on business needs.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and their architectural considerations.
• Skilled in developing documentation and architectural blueprints to communicate complex data platform designs effectively.
