Engineering Head - Investments & Release Management

Job Description

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, ensuring quality, scalability, security, and timely execution.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Business teams to define technical roadmaps and project priorities.
• Conduct sprint planning, resource allocation, and capacity planning to ensure optimal team productivity.
• Review system architecture, technical designs, and code to maintain engineering best practices.
• Establish coding standards, development processes, and quality assurance practices.
• Monitor engineering metrics and continuously improve delivery efficiency and product reliability.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, career development, and succession planning for the engineering team.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive adoption of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance product capabilities and engineering efficiency.
