Renewals Operations Analyst II

Role Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented Renewal Sales Operations professional to own pipeline hygiene, renewals governance, and forecasting for our Renewals & Expansion (R+E) business. You'll be the operational backbone that keeps deals moving, risks visible, and managers accountable, translating data into clear actions for reps and sales leaders. A solid understanding of the renewal sales motion and quoting is essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Hygiene & Risk Management
- Run daily pipeline hygiene checkpoints across the R+E book of business.
- Track deals stalled in stage for more than 15, 25, and 30 days.
- Monitor high-value deals ($100K+) with no activity for more than 15 days.
- Proactively surface execution risks and drive follow-up actions with reps and managers.
Renewals Governance
- Track early engagement ownership on renewal opportunities.
- Oversee R+E Early Renewals reporting.
- Ensure Stage 4+ opportunities have a multi-year or co-term option quoted and marked as primary.
- Monitor deals expiring in the next 60, 45, 30, and 15 days, and escalate at-risk renewals.
Forecasting
- Prepare and publish the weekly forecast deck at the manager level.
- Drive a bottom-up forecast process beginning 45 days before the next quarter.
Metrics & Manager Enablement
- Publish weekly CQ+1 rep and manager lead metrics.
- Give managers actionable insights that drive accountability and execution.
Policy & Account Governance
- Manage the Exclusion List.
- Own account transition and churn ownership transfer policies.
- Review cases for exceptions and make or recommend decisions.
Qualifications.
- 4-7 years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales/Renewals Analytics, ideally in SaaS or subscription businesses.
- Strong understanding of the renewal sales motion (renewal lifecycle, early engagement, forecasting, and risk/churn management) and quoting (co-terming, multi-year options, and primary quote requirements).
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (reports, dashboards, opportunity stages, quoting/CPQ concepts).
- Experience building forecast decks and pipeline reporting for sales leadership.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to challenge reps and managers and drive follow-through.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable running recurring daily and weekly cadences.
